Fairy tales and cultural meanings

The Boston Globe has a quick article on the sanitisation of fairy tales in Disney films. Its not a new idea but as I begin thinking about Tintin and Asterix, I realise how like fairy tales they both are, in the original sense of the form.

RDR loses Harry Potter lexicon trial

Perhaps this ending was inevitable (Telegraph article & Guardian article). RDR have lost the case for the Harry Potter Lexicon to Rowling and Warner Bros Entertainment who has also been awarded statory damages of £3,850 ($6,750).
