Its coming to the silly season for news stories but this one tickled me on the BBC. Paddington Bear’s immigration status is the focus of the next book, Paddington Here and Now, to be published June 2008 which is also the fiftieth anniversary of his first appearance. Its only a matter of time, I suppose.
