Reissuing classics

Missed this when it first came out but Julia Eccleshare has written a blog piece about Jane Nissens Books’ reissues of children’s fiction. I like the idea of reissuing older books and rediscovering potential gems (though would Gollancz kindly stop publishing the ouevre of Philip K Dick as classics!). I may not come back to those books at the same time but I know that I can slot in a classic as and when I’d like downtime. Of course, there is a limit to the amount of classics that can be reissued but it does go against the grain of the current vogue for front listing.
