Yatterings

Over the weekend, the Guardian ran three fairy tales written by Hilary Mantel (a great tale that reminds me of an early version of Riquet of the Tuft), Audrey Niffeneger (a quite transforming tale) and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (somewhat more of the expected traditional tale).

BoingBoing has this link to a series of semi-dramatized readings of sf novels produced in the late 1970 and 80s called Mindwebs. It features stuff from Arthur C Clarke and Gordon R Dickson and loads of others but annoyingly it only has a title listing rather than any author details (this website might help out). [...]
