OMG, Gizmodo have got a picture story of a 21 foot long X-Wing that actually flies with rocket power. The launch is scheduled for next week and it even has an R2D2 unit in the back and the X wings take around 35 seconds to deploy into position. Lets hope the flight lasts that long and that pictures are posted.
UPDATE: The X-Wing exploded due to the stress of takeoff. Gizmodo has this report. Shame as potentially it was an excellent project – looking forward to hearing them rebuild a stronger version for flight…
