The Doctor’s companion

The BBC have announced that Catherine Tate, the Runaway Bride in last year’s Christmas special, is to be the Doctor’s second companion next season alongside Freema Agyeman. She balanced the Doctor neatly in the episode to show how alien he is and, ultimately, amoral in his pursuit of balance. All w have to do now is what for Christmas and the Voyageof the Damned episode with the Titanic. (Now I’m sure this came out in a different version on cd in last year’s Christmas Radio Times. If so, it was a good episode.)
