Reynolds is one of these great authors who does something that isn’t sexy (thinking about the far future) but manages to make the same future wonderful. The BBC have got a great interview with him talking about science and science fiction, the fact and fiction, and where the line is drawn for a scientific author. He makes the outer reaches of the universe seem plausible and even enjoyable.
