Yatterings

I’m a little slow in looking at this but the His Dark Materials has posted some shots from the forthcoming game of the film of Northern Lights Golden Compass. It looks intriguing but in all honesty, I’m not a gamer.

I might be tempted to pick this up but we’ll see. They post an interesting essay about the possibility of the anti-religious ideas being take out of the film. It wouldn’t surprise me if they are toned down entirely but taking the criticism out entirely would beg the question of why these books are being used as a vehicle.
