He’s one of those odd characters who is influential in the fantastic, see Clive Barker and Peter Ackroyd are the prime examples, but he seems to have disappeared from conscience. He’s certainly one of those artists who recreate the world in a strange and wonderful way despite the industrial landscape and decidedly anti-science views.
